I have been a personal trainer for over 33 years. As a competitive bodybuilder I won titles in Vermont, New England and Nationally. Over the years I’ve worked with Vermont athletes from the USA biathlon team and USA mogul team. I’ve also worked with collegiate athletes in every sport, and hundreds of high school athletes including 8 Gatorade players of the year.

Earlier in my career I worked with the Spine Institute of New England in cutting edge spine rehab.

Ten years ago I opened Picard Fitness to treat clients with the ultimate personal training experience without the distraction of a huge gym.

Growing up in a gym with my father and my love for baseball lead me to play Division 1 baseball at the University of Massachusetts Amherst. It is there where I studied and completed a Bachelors of Science degree in Kinesiology and Exercise Science.

After graduation I passed the National Federation on Professional Trainers (NFPT) exam and became a one on one personal trainer at Picard Fitness Consulting. For the last five years I have worked with people from all walks of life, helping them meet their health, strength, and overall fitness goals.

My love for golf influenced my choice in becoming a Titleist Performance Institute level 2 fitness specialist. Through this certification I have learned the key to pain free consistent golf starts with evaluating and correcting the body.

My philosophy is to evaluate every client and provide a tailored training regimen for their goals. Individualized evaluation and training ensures that anyone can achieve their desired health and fitness goals safely.
